Hi everyone. Yesterday we announced the launch of Concur Breeze, a simple, cost-efficient expense reporting solution designed specifically for small businesses. I could not be more excited. The launch of Concur Breeze allows us to help an entirely new segment of the world make the miserable process of expense reporting easier. Finally, small businesses have a reliable and established partner to make expense reporting painless. We have always known that small businesses had a challenge with expense reporting. But we also acknowledged that they needed something built specifically for their needs – extremely simple to use, quick to setup and easy to try out before buying. We took those requirements, sprinkled in 17 years of experience processing expense reports for companies of all sizes all around the world, and delivered Concur Breeze. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to sign up for a free 30-day trial. You likely saw Elena Donio’s blog post yesterday announcing Concur Breeze. In addition to her comments, I also wanted to share my thoughts on the announcement – which we’ve captured in this brief video. I speak for everyone at Concur when I say, we’re proud to bring Concur Breeze to market and we can’t wait to hear your feedback.
I’m thrilled to announce that today we launched Concur Breeze, our new online expense reporting service designed specifically for small businesses. A 30-day free-trial of the service is available now at www.concurbreeze.com, and can also be found on the Google Apps Marketplace, Google's recently launched online storefront for Google Apps products and services. Concur has years of experience providing expense management solutions for mid-sized businesses as well as some of the world’s largest companies. But we also know that small businesses have a unique set of requirements when it comes to managing their expenses. This market in particular has been underserved, leaving most small businesses to track and report their expenses with laborious spreadsheets.

Recent Concur Mobile Enhancements | Concur Mobile | Concur Blog With more and more business travelers doing more while on the road – it’s no wonder why so many road warriors rely on their smartphone to stay connected with their office. In fact, according to a recent Forrester report, smartphone usage amongst adults increased by more than 50 percent from 2008 to 2009, underscoring a clear point – smarthphone usage is on the rise. With tens of thousands of users utilizing Concur Mobile today to help them manage travel and expenses from their smartphone, things just got easier. We have two exciting new Concur Mobile enhancements to announce! The first is Concur Invoice on Concur Mobile. When a payment request is entered into Concur Invoice, the approver can use Concur Mobile to view line items, vendor information and images. After reviewing invoice related information, the approver can approve the payment request or send it back to the owner – all from the convenience of their smartphone, thanks to Concur Mobile. Plus, with the convenience of invoice approvals on Concur Mobile, invoice cycle time is reduced, which reduces the risk of late payment fees and provides the opportunity to take advantage of early-pay discounts.
Concur Announces Southwest Airlines Partnership | Concur Blog Last summer at NBTA, we announced a partnership with Southwest. And, today the content is live for our clients to start using! This is an exciting step for Concur because we’re the only travel provider today with direct access to Southwest content, and most importantly this is something our clients have been asking for. While at Fusion a couple weeks ago, our clients were thrilled that Southwest content would soon be available. I was talking with one client and she said, “Suzanne, we do more than 65 percent of our travel with Southwest. You can imagine how excited we are that this content will be live in Concur.” For our clients, access to Southwest content isn’t just an enhancement; this will truly make an impact on their travel programs.

In addition, Rendell Lofgreen from Carollo Engineers and Patrick Daskol from The Denver Center For The Performing Arts discuss what innovation means to them in this video Enjoy!
Concur Fusion 2010 Wrap-Up | Concur Blog Still charged up after attending our biggest client event of the year last week! Concur hosted more than 900 clients, partners and employees in Boca Raton, Florida for our annual client conference, Fusion. The event was a huge success – I’m hearing feedback from clients and partners alike that it was our best event to date! If you missed it, I reflected on the first few days of Fusion here and here. For the second consecutive year, we hosted an analyst day. A total of 11 influential industry analysts from both North America and EMEA joined us at Fusion to meet with Concur executives, attend sessions and interact with clients. The analysts were especially keen to hear details about Concur’s plans in the emerging business market as well as our plans for Concur Mobile in 2010 and beyond. In fact, we’ve already seen one analyst blog about his experience at Fusion. Fusion 2010 definitely exceeded my expectations. It’s bittersweet to see it come to a close, but I’m definitely looking forward to next year. Thank you to all of our clients and partners who joined us in Boca Raton for the event!
Concur at Business Travel Show | Concur Blog Welcome Concur guest blogger, Mark Law, Director of Business Development in EMEA: Last year, the talk at the Business Travel Show was all about the recession with companies across the space feeling the heat of the economic crisis. We had the feeling the industry was very much holding its breath and waiting for the next set of negative financial results, or organisation to ‘go under’. Another year on, and whilst we’re not out of the woods yet, this year’s newly christened Business Travel & Meetings Show promises to be a more positive affair. With some countries in Europe starting to whisper the words ‘green shoots’; there is a general consensus amongst economists that the worst may be over. What is clear however, after the tough financial conditions endured by businesses across all sectors, is that the days of superfluous business travel and non-core expenses claims are gone. The MPs expense scandal illustrates this nicely. There will be no going backwards.
AMO Presenting at Business Travel Meetings Show | Concur Blog Welcome Concur guest blogger, Matt Bray, Business Development Manager in EMEA: I spend a lot of my time travelling across Europe talking about the benefits of an integrated self-booking tool and expense management system. I have my views on how they should be deployed and implemented, and have seen our customers doing it first hand, however nothing quite compares to actually rolling one out yourself! To that end, I’m pleased to say that at this year’s Business Travel & Meetings Show in London , I am sharing a stage with Geraldine Horkan whose company AMO has done just that. Our talk on the first day of the show (Wednesday 10th February, 13.45-14:45) is dedicated to a discussion around the benefits of integrating travel booking with expense management, using AMO as a real case study. Above and beyond the technology challenges of this kind of deployment, the change management process involved is often complex. Expenses and travel booking touch on all areas of the business from HR right the way through to accounting and IT. All businesses are packed full of personalities and politics, and therefore the process needs to be managed well to ensure the business benefits are delivered.
Concur Fusion 2010, Day 3 | Concur User Conference | Concur Blog We just finished up our third day of Fusion and the energy and enthusiasm from our clients is contagious! With more than 900 clients, partners and employees, Fusion is the largest gathering for travel and expense management anywhere in the world! Yesterday morning, Tom DePasquale, executive vice president of technology, and John Love, senior vice president of research of development, kicked off the day with their keynote session focused on Concur’s relentless innovation. During the hour-long keynote, attendees heard details about Concur’s 2010 product roadmap. From exciting updates about Concur Mobile (including a live demo), to new reporting capabilities, to enhancements to the solution user interface – attendees got a sneak peak into this year’s upcoming product plans. After the keynote, clients had the opportunity to attend a variety of educational sessions with topics including maximizing their current solution, to taking their T&E program global, to networking sessions and more. During these sessions, many clients are taking advantage of earning continuing education credits for professional recertification IOMA/TAPN, NBTA and IAPP. This is the first year Concur’s offering these education credits for our clients – this is a great way for clients to get the most out of Fusion – not only enhance their knowledge about Concur, but also earn important credits for professional recertification. I’m excited about another great day today – full of more educational sessions, plus Dara Torres will kick off the morning with an inspirational speech about her journey at the Olympics.
