The European Commission recently proposed that e-invoices and paper invoices be treated equally for VAT purposes. Concur’s Chris Juneau comments: “This is good news for companies that have chosen to automate their travel and expense processes. By digitally capturing expense information rather than having to sort paper, businesses of all sizes can maximise their domestic VAT recovery.
