Switching to Concur’s automated expense system eliminated errors, allowed for instant approvals, faster reimbursements, savings in administration time and also significant reductions in direct costs such as worldwide postage. Most of all, having instant and fully up to date expense data provides SDL
management with a powerful strategic tool to guide the company’s future operations and expansion plans.
Workforce buy-in was very positive and training required minimal effort - we created an SDL Quick Reference Guide with the key messages and then had the central project and local Finance teams provide some initial support. Employees generally found the system easy to use and in particular found the Mobile App helpful in order to keep track of and submit expenses.
