Concur Holdings (Netherlands) B.V. and its related companies (“Concur” or “we” or “us”) and/or our partners collect information automatically from you when you visit Concur’s EU websites and if you use Concur’s cloud-based applications as an authorized user of a corporate customer from the EU (websites and cloud-based corporate applications, collectively, the “Services”).
This Cookie Policy describes some of the Tracking Technologies (as defined below) we and our partners use on our Services and why they are used. For more information on Concur's other data collection and use activities and policies, please visit our Privacy Policy.
Tracking Technologies. We and others may use various technologies to automatically collect information about your device and activities as you use our Services and third-party sites (“Tracking Technologies”).
Cookies are small data files stored on your device by a website. Among other things, cookies help us improve our Services and your experience. We and others use cookies to see which areas and features are popular and to count visits to our Services and for other purposes described below. Many Web browsers may be set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually set your browser to remove or not to accept cookies or to reject cookies. Changing your cookie settings may affect certain features of our Services including certain cookies placed on your device used to indicate your choices when you opt-out of targeted advertising.
First and third-party cookies. We use first and third-party cookies on our Services. Whether a cookie is 'first' or 'third' party refers to the domain placing the cookie. First-party cookies are those set by a website that you are visiting at the time (e.g., cookies placed by www.concur.fr while visiting www.concur.fr). Certain cookies are set by a domain other than that of the website you are currently visiting. If you visit a website and another entity sets its cookie or reads its cookie through that website, this would be a third-party cookie (e.g., cookies placed by www.google.com while visiting www.concur.co.uk).
Persistent and session cookies. We use persistent cookies and session cookies on our Services. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the period of time specified in the cookie. They can remain on your device after you visit the website that set them and can be read the next time that you visit the website that created that particular cookie or visit another website with a beacon from the website that dropped the cookie. Persistent cookies can remain after you end a browser session. A browser session starts when you open a browser window and finishes when you close the browser window. Session cookies allow us to link your actions during a browser session. Session cookies are created temporarily. Once you close the browser, session cookies are typically deleted.
You can find out more information on cookies, at: www.allaboutcookies.org.
Web beacons are electronic images that may be used on our Services, on third party sites (for example, where we place an ad), or in our emails. We and others use Web beacons to deliver cookies, count visits, improve our Services and your experience, understand usage and campaign effectiveness, to tell if an email has been opened and acted upon and for other purposes described below.
Publisher provided identifiers (PPIDs) are identifiers we use alongside cookies and other Tracking Technologies in connection with personalized ads and content on our Services, on third party sites, in applications, in our emails and elsewhere. The PPID allows us to have a consistent identifier for you across devices from which you use our apps and access our sites. This helps us better tailor your ads and content to your interests and helps keep us from showing you the same ads too many times even as you use different devices.
Details about Tracking Use and Choices.
In addition to the above, the purposes for use of Tracking Technologies on our Services are categorized as follows: Essential or Required, Targeting or Advertising, and Analytics.
