Only company to secure recognition in ‘Employee Expenses Management’ category
Slough, UK., December 02, 2014 – Concur (Nasdaq: CNQR), the global leader in integrated travel and expense management, today announced the renewal of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) accreditation across its entire portfolio of products, not just Expense which was the previous accreditation. The endorsement means that Concur is the only accredited company in the ‘Employee Expenses Management’ category.
Running for over 25 years the ICAEW Accreditation Scheme provides an independent evaluation of accountancy and other relevant software packages for finance professionals. The Institute has 143,000 members worldwide with 83 percent of the FTSE100 having a member on its Board. The thorough accreditation process involves the completion of a detailed questionnaire by Concur, before an onsite visit from the ICAEW and subsequent verification from an independent auditor, which demonstrates the high level of scrutiny that is required to obtain certification in order to provide an accurate recommendation to its elite members.
“Investing in an automated travel and expense solution can go a long way to advancing a company’s business objectives. Before choosing a vendor you have to be totally confident that the one you select and ultimately invest in will be a good fit and provide the tools to effectively serve your business,” said Concur’s Senior Vice President and Managing Director, UK Enterprise, Isabel Montesdeoca. “Everyone at Concur is delighted that the ICAEW has decided to renew its accreditation and renowned seal of approval for another five years. As the only company of our kind to gain this prestigious accreditation, we feel it strengthens our status as a global leader in the travel and expense management market”.
“Professionals have their own thoughts and ideas on what works best for them but they also need support from a trusted third party in order to make important business decisions, particularly when implementing a new system. This is why our scheme is the trusted benchmark for software used by accountants in both business and practice markets. Concur has satisfied both our robust technical evaluation criteria as well continually offering strong customer support, which is why we are very excited to have them on board”, said Craig Mclellen, Affinity Partnerships Manager, from the ICAEW.
