May 25th 2017, Maidenhead, UK – Concur, the world’s leading provider of integrated travel and expense management solutions and services, will strengthen its travel offering by adding British Airways and Lufthansa’s new distribution capability (NDC) content in Concur Travel.
Concur has previously announced TripLink agreements with British Airways, Lufthansa and Iberia that enables mutual customers to capture business travel bookings made directly via the airlines’ channels. Additionally, Concur has been working with the GDSs to incorporate branded fares content into its corporate booking tool.
Corporate customers will gain greater flexibility and the option to choose a system that best suits their needs. Whether the booking is made in Concur travel using GDS or NDC content, or through the airlines’ direct channels using TripLink, the corporate customer will be able to apply corporate travel policy, cost control and duty of care obligations to all bookings.
Travel management companies (TMCs) that are already working with airlines via NDC, or Concur to access TripLink data, can obtain access to all their corporate customer bookings. These functionalities will be available later in 2017 when all these products will be live. This will allow the TMCs to provide additional reporting, account support or traveller service to all their corporate clients.
As well as corporate benefits, travellers booking through NDC may also have quicker access to new products and benefit from personally crafted offers.
