Latest Enhancements to Concur Expense Service Pro Including Advanced Audit and Back-Office Capabilities; Customers Get New Features without Disruption or Upgrade Costs

REDMOND, Wash., March 23, 2004 - Concur Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNQR), the leading provider of Corporate Expense Management solutions, today demonstrated the business efficiency of its Concur Expense Service Pro solution by providing valuable new capabilities to more than 1,000 of its customers overnight, across the globe. The dynamic update further illustrates the perpetual return on investment that hosted services has had for small and medium sized companies intent on driving costs out of the expense management function.

By simultaneously upgrading its Concur Expense Service Pro customers, Concur is addressing demand for continuous innovation without business disruption. Among the many enhancements that are now part of the service, the update provides Concur's customers with greater flexibility for how they can leverage expense data. Customers can now analyze entertainment spending in terms of which individuals or organizations have been entertained, providing detailed visibility into the cost of a particular business relationship for the first time. In addition, the enhancement also provides the ability to define stricter controls for enforcing travel policies and detecting expense fraud. For example, a comprehensive new audit report conveniently shows expense reports that had exceptions to policy and their full approval chain. This report assists organizations in pinpointing potentially fraudulent activity or sustained weaknesses in policy enforcement. A number of back-office capabilities have also been added to streamline and customize the expense report process.
