DRC Capital is a real estate investor and turned to SAP Concur to help solve a number of efficiency challenges the growing company was facing. We spoke to Maria Santos Roman, the Office Manager in charge of arranging and processing all the partners’ travel plans, expenses and invoices.
Maria came across SAP Concur in an article in City A.M. and wanted to find out how we could take the painful paper steps not only out of the expense process, but out of their invoice process too. With 16 employees, she was initially concerned that DRC Capital was too small to consider an integrated expense, travel and invoice platform, but since going live, Maria says she hasn’t looked back.
“It’s amazing how much paper we used to use. We have little paper storage now because everything is scanned and stored in SAP Concur. And if we ever have an HMRC audit, we can quickly access any documentation we need.” – Maria Santos Roman.

They can do all this on the go and it’s really fast once they get the hang of it. Our Managing Partner uses the SAP Concur mobile app so he can approve invoices while he’s travelling.”
