VAT IT Group Integrates With Concur Invoice

Global VAT recovery firm customers set to benefit from automated VAT recovery

27 June 2017, Maidenhead, UK –  Concur, the world leader in employee spend management, today announced that VAT IT Group, holding company of VAT IT and Meridian VAT Reclaim, has gone live with Concur Invoice. As a result of the integration, customers of VAT IT will not only have access to an automated single, end-to-end solution for pre-approval and ongoing management of their accounts payable invoices, but will also be advised on where they could be claiming back more VAT.

VAT IT is one of Concur’s VAT partners who have integrated with Concur Invoice through the platform and referral agreement Concur has with VAT IT Group. VAT IT aims to maximise its clients’ VAT recovery and implementing Concur Invoice will extend VAT IT Group’s partnership with Concur and empower the company to pull in 86,000 expense entries per hour.  The move is also significant within the wider context of VAT IT Group’s recent acquisition of Meridian VAT Reclaim as it means the company’s holding group now has more global reach and technology resources than any other VAT recovery business on the planet. It has 45 offices worldwide, services clients in over 110 countries in 53 languages and has a central technology development and shared services hub that supports both VAT IT and Meridian VAT Reclaim.

Saul Goldstein, CEO of VAT IT Group said:  “We take our Concur technology development very seriously. Concur is a supportive partner and together we’re constantly striving to save our clients costs and time by using the most current and streamlined technologies out there. Our integration with Concur Invoice is the next step in offering our clients a fully automated VAT recovery process”.

Dafydd Llewellyn, Managing Director of SMB, Concur said: “VAT reclaim can be both cumbersome and a bit of a minefield. As a result of our partnership with the VAT IT Group, its customers will be able to realise great time efficiencies through automation that will free up time for more strategic tasks. In addition that they will now be alerted to other areas in which they can reclaim VAT that should also help to bolster the bottom line – a win win all round. We will continue to work with the VAT IT Group to ensure that all clients have the most powerful, cost effective and seamless experience possible.”
