Working together for the perfect business trip: Concur and Sixt announce partnership

Berlin, 13 November 2014 – Concur, the leading provider of spend management solutions and services, and Sixt, global provider of high-quality mobility solutions, today announced their partnership at the GBTA (Global Business Travel Association) conference in Berlin.

“Car rental meets travel expenses” – the partnership between Concur and Sixt will make it easier for business travellers to achieve the goal of the “perfect business trip". Concur’s TripLink solution allows travellers to link their Concur and Sixt profiles to enable business travellers to directly book their rental car or other Sixt services, according to their company conditions and in compliance with travel expense regulations. The trip data will be sent back to Concur to automatically populate travel and expense reports on Concur. For business travellers, this means greater flexibility and freedom during the booking process. Companies’ financial and travel managers simultaneously receive a clear overview of all bookings, even if these are made directly through Sixt and not via Concur.

The linking of Sixt and Concur user profiles allows business travellers to enjoy great added benefits:

More choice: the business traveller is free to decide whether to book via Concur Travel or directly through Sixt. With TripLink the traveller can combine the various booking channels in a single accounting system. This means that the traveller has full flexibility in the choice of his or her preferred booking channel.

Cost benefits: With Concur TripLink, business travellers can benefit from their company conditions, regardless of where they book their trip. They and their companies also have a simple overview of all bookings and costs. This information can then be used to create programmes for compliance with travel guidelines and security regulations.

Improved risk management: By combining bookings from various booking channels, companies know where their employees are at all times. This makes it easier for a company to fulfil its duty of care.
