Specsavers streamlines global expense management with SAP Concur

Specsavers, the international optical and audiology retailer with more than 41,500 employees across 11 countries and 2,000+ shops, replaced a bespoke in-house system with SAP Concur Expense to standardise and scale its expense management processes across all markets.

The challenge

The existing solution lacked scalability and could not support multi-country rollout. Store-based partners found it difficult to access, and paper-based processes were consuming time that should have been spent serving customers.

Concur Expense was deployed as a SaaS platform across nine countries, including the UK, Ireland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. Implementation required minimal IT overhead and basic employee training. SAP Concur's User Support Desk provided 24/7 multilingual support from day one.
