From magazine publisher to global platform for specialist media, Future’s business has evolved dramatically since it was founded in 1985. Anthony Morris, Master Data Manager at Future, discusses how the company has transformed into a digitally led organisation – and that includes back-end finance processes like travel & expenses (T&E), and invoice management. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, Future was easily able to shift to a remote-working setup, without impacting the efficiency of its finance processes or people.

“People were able to manage their time better, ensure they were claiming all the expenses they needed, process their purchase requests and gain approval in a timely fashion, because it has the function of being on your mobile device or your laptop.” says Anthony.
